Description

Come look at all the captured steps which I've tried to lay out so you better would see the pictures, tho in words, which makes one small togetherness, bringing us in a same time and space, so we can share our deeper philosophies as our paths in our lives did intermix. So different yet so much alike we lived, and live still, to walk along and let us note the 'how much alike we are or were in passing thru.' So take any title and think back to that subjected time, place or day and smile... yes smile... you will, you must, you need to... for to capture and relive our memories -- that is all we keep through our passages of time. This book is just one part of a series of poetry books by this author, who was born in Trinidad, raised in Cayman and after a three-year adventure of world travelling while working deep sea, immigrated to Canada. Herein you will find pages which contains prose about the unexpected bumps of life, the joys of the smoother rides and the deep tears that can only come from loving. Mr. Christian is now retired and is currently devoting his time to putting his lifetime of literary writings into print, to share with those of you who love to read, and especially those of you who appreciate poetry and the inner peace that comes from reading such.

Author Biography:

Mr. Christian, who became Canadian by choice after taking to the far seas of this planet, at the age of 16, has compiled his lifetime of literary talents into a series of books. While married to his first love, he helped to raise two children with her, while at the same time, fighting a lifetime of racial discriminatory practices at his place of employment. In spite of this adversity, he managed to work his way up the ranks to become the first black Chief Engineer with BC Ferries. With the lost of his first love to cancer after 30 years of marriage, he struggled to deal with this devastation, until a second chance came along in the form of his second love, whom he has been married to for 15 years now. So come on in and flip the pages a while, with a descendant of Fletcher Christian, of Napoleon's Admiral Gantaume, a Grandson of Carib & Arawack Indians and of Runaway Slaves. Take the time to listen to the anecdotes passed down into these books as a result of a lifetime of living in many corners...
