Homicide Detective Brandy Kaufman never considered danger coming to her because her whole focus was getting justice for the victim. She disliked incompetency and demanded everyone to do their job to the utmost efficiency; she demanded the same of herself. Her dislike for Federal agents was well known, especially having had worked with FBI agents who she considered incompetent. On the immediate case which involved a gruesome murder that she had never witnessed before, FBI Special Agent Troy Sullivan entered the case because he had been investigating ten other murders across the U.S. with the same MO by the same serial killer. The killer left no evidence behind of any kind until this homicide. During the investigation the killer turns his attention to Detective Kaufman and decides he wants her and will do anything to get her. Brandy sees no danger to herself focusing only on bringing the killer to justice, and feels smothered by the hovering protection of her partner, Detective Kyle Blake, and the 'Fed' Troy Sullivan. Can they keep Brandy safe and away from this serial killer? Can FBI Special Agent Troy Sullivan change her mind about Federal agents?

Author Biography:

Grace Jacks Wilson was born and raised in Houston, Texas, graduating from John H. Reagan High School and two years at the University of Houston. At a very young age she accepted a personal relationship with Jesus. She married a rancher moving to New Mexico, raising one son who has given her five grandchildren. She has taught adult and children Sunday school, taught Wednesday night Bible study for four years, currently teaches Bible study twice a week. She has been a widow for several years and enjoys writing bringing a personal relationship with Jesus with each character that carries them through the situations they face. She has faced many life-changing situations and learned the importance of leaning on Jesus to see her through.
