I been playing around with it for over an hour moving all around it even shaking my hands about 1cm away from it. Had my dog go past it, tried it in different places and lighting and the motion sensor only went off 2 out of around 500 attempts but it does work if I give it a tap (but that kind of defeats the purpose of a motion sensor). Definitely don't recommend buyinng it unless you plan on keeping it in the box.
My fault as I should have looked closer at the picture but it is basically just a vinyl cover around a plastic ball so the mouth is made of fabric and doesn't chomp. The sensor is iffy and seems to react to sound rather than movement. Either that or it's tempermental.
