Great kit. Awesome Tamiya instructions and overall quality. Awesome value for money too. Comes with rubber tracks so that made life easy. Not a kit for first timers but with a moderate skill level you shouldn't struggle.

Lacking in detail and a few points do not line up too well. No periscopes and not even a bit of interior. If displayed as a diorama with external crew or none, having open hatches makes it very obvious.
Straight forward instructions, Tank tracks linked at first attempt and looks great on the shelf. Tamiya is my favourite tank kit brand.
First announced in 1970 the Mk. 5 was the main type of Mk. in service in the mid 1970s. Further engine modifications brought the power output up to 750bhp with consequent improvement in overall performance. Soon revision of the ammunition stowage arrangements enabled 64 rounds to be stowed. Splash plates were added on the glacis as well.
