Technical communication is a fast-evolving discipline that focuses on helping users of products and services perform tasks in an organizational context. This discipline requires connections across organizational functions. During a conference at Université Paris Diderot, technical communication professionals and academics explored the various aspects in which technical communicators collaborate beyond silos. Author Biography:

Patricia Minacori is Associate Professor at the University Paris Diderot (France). A former technical translator, head of two curricula in technical communication, she has been teaching technical and scientific translation for almost 30 years, in Graduate's and Master's degrees.
