What was God like when he walked on the surface of the Earth in the beginning? I rather think he would have been like a very old and very eccentric hobbyist; single minded and intent on creating his world; in love with its perfections and its imperfections; constantly changing his mind and his plans; happy sometimes too, to just sit down and go with the flow. And his creations? Well of course we were just one of them and he had a purpose and a future for them all.
