Description

With the prince imprisoned, a usurper on the throne, and enemies at the border, the kingdom of Serenia calls out for help. It arrives in the form of angeluscustos, guardians honor bound to help Serenia in time of dire need - and surprisingly young ones. Four siblings find themselves suddenly thrust into a world on the brink of war and amazingly in possession of magical powers gifted to them by the God who set them on their quest to make things right. But when one of them is captured and injured in the process, and the children are separated, they begin to fear they will not succeed. And how will they get home?

Author Biography:

Elizabeth Anderson is the pen name of Jane Witmer, who was born in Minnesota and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana, where she graduated from Honey Creek High School in 1965. She earned a B.A. degree at Indiana State University where she was chapter editor of the Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority. She started writing stories as a young child and wrote her first novel when she was in junior high. She became a high school French and English teacher, first in Indiana, and later in Illinois where she met and married her husband. She eventually completed an M.S. degree in Education with a double major in English and French, and later an M.A. in English. In addition to teaching in high school, she has also taught for a number of years as an adjunct instructor of English for Lake Land College, teaching both a literature class and writing classes. Although she officially retired from teaching in 2007, she has found it difficult to give up teaching and so has continued to teach part time, first both French and dual credit composition classes.
