Author Biography:

Sun Tzu was an accomplished general and strategist in China who lived during the Spring and Autumn period (771-485 BC). His treatise The Art of War is the most famous military text ever written and remains influential to this day. Nigel Cawthorne studied at University College, London, where he gained an Honours degree in Physics, before turning to writing as a career. He has written, contributed to and edited more than 100 books and his work has also appeared in over a hundred and fifty newspapers, magazines and partworks on both sides of the Atlantic - from the Sun to the Financial Times. Julian Flanders is an experienced editor and author. He has edited and contributed to a number of books on a variety of subjects, including self-help, philosophy and politics.
