Germany in the 1970s murderous bomb attacks and the fear of the enemy inside are rocking the very foundations of the fragile German Democracy.
The Baader Meinhof Complex explores the true story of the rise and fall of a left wing terrorist organisation started by radicalised children of the Nazi generation. Known as the Baader Meinhoff Group and led by the charismatic leaders Andreas Baader, Ulrike Meinhof and Gudrun Ensslin, their aim was to battle Western imperialism in the name of democracy, no matter the cost to themselves or innocent civilians.
