Description

Red Cliff is a visionary epic based on the legendary battle in which a force of fifty thousand men defeated an army of nearly one million. In the final days of the Han Dynasty, shrewd Prime Minister Cao Cao convinces his fickle Emperor the only way to unite China is to declare war on two neighbouring kingdoms. Thus begins a brutal military campaign of unprecedented scale and the formation of an unlikely alliance. Waging several battles of strength and wit, the course of Chinese history is changed forever by the final battle at Red Cliff.
