The Billionaire's Secrets is a light, contemporary romance with a strong background story. This is as much about the lives of the two main characters as it is about romance. It is set on a beach on the Italian Riviera. It is about love and what that means for them, how it can hurt and be wonderful at the same time. There are no hot, steamy scenes, only raw emotions at times, and strong feelings, especially towards the heart-breaking end. In book 2 Fiona and Monty's relationship grows. He is perfect, or almost. There are a couple of incidents that leave Fiona a few doubts that he is trying to control her life, but she puts these aside. He is so good and thoughtful to her in other ways, these do not seem that important, yet. Fiona goes to his house, where finally their relationship goes to the next level, so to speak.
