While the acting from the young stars was excellent the portrayal of the difficulties faced by a family with a member who is autistic brought to light the difficulties they all shared. The acceptance by another person, not part of the family, brought out the best of human nature. Excellent one line humour, sad but enjoyable with a really ‘good finish’.
All Thomas wants is a normal adolescence but his autistic brother, Charlie, thwarts his every opportunity. Will Thomas, with the help of his girlfriend, Jackie (Ward), accept his brother?
