Priya Tew RD is an award-winning, experienced registered dietitian and nutrition professional with a degree in Nutritional Sciences and a Masters in Dietetics. She is registered with the Health Professions Council and the British Dietetic Association. With wide-ranging experience both within the NHS and as a freelance dietitian, Priya offers an inventive and fresh approach to nutrition. Priya is winner of the British Dietetic Association's Media Spokesperson of the Year 2015 and of a Small Business Sunday (SBS) award from Dragons' Den's Theo Paphitis in 2012. With a wealth of media experience, Priya is known for her down-to-earth realism and no-nonsense nutrition message. Priya's ability to translate complex scientific principles into bite-size messages makes her a regular contact for journalists. Previous work includes articles for magazines including Closer, Glamour, Good Housekeeping, Slim at Home, FitPro and Dietetics Today. Priya is author of The Dash Diet (Aster, December 2020).
