Description

A psychotherapist and a mother attack ancient mythology, modern society and the men's movement - in defence of mothers and sons. Provocative in parts, this book looks at popular culture, from classical myth to Freud and Spock, and uses case studies from the authors' clinical practice and own experience, to question the old belief that only a father can make a boy a man. This book marks a debate between Betty Friedan, Germain Greer and Susan Faludi.
