Description

'The Deathbed Poet' is a collection of sixteen poems about death, deathbeds, funerals, graveyards, memories and memorials and poetry itself. 'Other Poems' includes pieces about otters, seagulls, a long-distance love affair, lockdowns and isolation, a drunk poet, as well as translations of two of Horace's Odes.

Author Biography:

Anthony White is a spoken-word poet living in Folkestone, where he writes and performs his work, mostly with Poets' Corner Folkestone, of which he is a founder member. He has also performed solo at Faversham Fringe Festival, and 'The Deathbed Poet' was the title of his 2021 show. Anthony has now revised this for publication and added a miscellany of other of his poems written between 2015 and 2022.
