HOLLAND is professor and director of the center for Social Service Research and Development, University of Georgia, Athens. BARBARA E. TAYLOR is senior associate at the Academic Search Consultation Service, Washington, DC. She has also served as director and vice president for programs and research at the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges in Washington, D.C.
