Author Biography:

Lisa M. Bolt Simons, a teacher by day, has published several nonfiction children’s books, as well as articles in various publications.  She’s been awarded a Minnesota State Arts Board grant, a McKnight Artist Fellowship for Writers/Loft Award in Children’s Literature Honorable Mention, and a Shabo Award from The Loft Literary Center.  She lives in Minnesota with her husband and teen twins.
