Description

This is the story of a traveling 'snake oil' salesman. The main character Willem, travels with his box wagon across the arid plains of Kansas. Willem has no qualms about selling his 'cure-all', and finds he can sell more of it by entertaining folks before they buy. He carries his guitar with him as he and his mule, Prophet, travel. Willem learns a lesson about his life and the people around him.

Author Biography:

Donna "Dee" Penley is a Kansas Cowgirl. Donna has raised and ridden horses her entire life. She has written and performed "cowboy poetry" for over twenty-five years. This is her third novel. Her two previous western novels are "Oklahoma Lawman" and "The Story of Ty Durant."
