Description

Sarah has been happily married for over 20 years with a lifestyle most could only dream of. Until lately, she has been content, but with her biological clock ticking, Sarah is growing restless. And when her husband accepts a promotion and relocation without discussing it with her first, Sarah finally realises that their now sexless marriage is on his terms and decides from now on she will make sure that her feelings and aspirations are taken into account, even if it means straying to fulfil her desire to become a mother. As they settle into their new way of life, Sarah is suddenly given an unexpected chance to use her sexuality to get what she wants. But there will, inevitably, be a price to pay. Set in modern-day California, The Gardener is a quietly exhilarating novel that takes a midlife affair into completely uncharted form, keeping readers thoroughly enthralled until the last stunning page.

Author Biography:

Charles White was born in Yeovil, Somerset and emigrated to Ireland at eleven years old. He returned to England twenty years later and worked in the motor industry. Now living in Dorset, he started writing as a pastime. First with stories for his young daughters. This led to his first novel, The Gardener. He is also the author of the Jonny & Carla adventure Instinctive Target; an edge-of-your-seat romantic thriller. Packed with adventure, danger and intrigue.
