The Gate is one of a few gates, which connect the world of the humans with the world of the dragons. It allows humans to cross over into the dragon world without difficulties, but dragons can only cross if they are in their true figures. Chris started the Saga, as she ran away from home and crossed the gate one day. She met a young man called Farren and fell in love with him without knowing that he was a dragon.
