Description

By showing how environmental concerns can be made central to economic policy, this book aims to fill a critical gap in the literature and create a new economic paradigm. The authors suggest that current contradictions in capitalism are a hopeful sign that change is possible. In the process, they clarify the continuing debates on planning, markets and ownership - and on economic growth and sustainability.
