When Quinn Cerra, the staff Geo-Archaeologist for the Woodhouse International Science Foundation goes on vacation to Rio de Janeiro, she thinks it's going to be just another two weeks of boring tourist activities. Then when she goes to a beach café and is approached by a mysterious man who seems to know a lot about her, a series of strange and even life threatening events is set in motion that is anything, but touristy. The man invites her to go on an expedition to find a mysterious artifact, but first they must visit a newly discovered Amazon Tribe that ties in with her research into the prehistoric colonizing of the Americas.
