Two years plus was a long wait for this album but well worth it. A low profile in Australia but huge in Europe, Katie Melua is a beautiful, inventive and unique talent. Her songwriting in collaboration with others, especially Mike Batt ( in the past ) is quirky, simple, but refreshing. There are good songs on You tube particularly “The closest thing to crazy” from "Call of the search " 2001 which I think is a perfect showcase for her amazing talent. I hope Katie comes to Australia soon.
