He is the author of "Steve Jobs"; "Einstein: His Life and Universe"; "Benjamin Franklin: An American Life"; and "Kissinger: A Biography"; and the coauthor of "The Wise Men: Six Friends and the World They Made." He lives in Washington, DC.
