Way back in 1970, a young man reluctantly goes on holiday with his parents to a small village in south-west Wales. Surprisingly he finds he likes the place after all. Why? Because he meets and falls in love with a beautiful Welsh girl. He can't get her out of his mind even once back home again, and despite his parents' opposition, he returns to find out if she really feels the same way about him. But what he discovers is a whole lot more. He stumbles across a property development scam, and unwillingly becomes a 'detective' for the local community. How does this adventure shape his future life? And who exactly is the knife meant for?
