Beneath a golden moon on a warm summer night, time came for the two brothers' maiden flight. Two lightning bug brothers, are eagerly anticipating their maiden flight. But when that day finally arrives, one of the brothers has a problem-his light has gone out! Without it, he can't be a true lightning bug: he can't blink, he can't soar, he can't make children chase him in the dark. What will he do? But his brother, who is determined not to leave him behind, comes up with a plan.

Author Biography:

I have worked in Early Childhood Education for the past twenty five years. I have self published two other picture books, Your Monster Is Really A Mess! and The Barnacle and Briny Circus. The Lightning Bug Brothers is my third self published picture book. I have lived with my family in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado for 34 years.
