The Long Surrender is the new studio album from the southern Ohio-based husband-and-wife team of multiinstrumentalist/vocalist Linford Detweiler and vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Karin Bergquist, otherwise known as Over the Rhine.
This is their 12th studio album and it marks 20 years since their 1991 debut.
It’s the bountiful result of a collaboration between the couple and producer Joe Henry (Elvis Costello, Allen Toussaint, Ani DiFranco)
The album guest stars vocalist Lucinda Williams on the track ‘Undamned’.
