The Magic Square has been around for at least a thousand years, and there have been many great mathematic and scientific minds that have played with them. The purpose of the book isn't to teach you a few parlor tricks that will make you the star of some late-night mathematical party (although you could do that with what you will learn here). Instead, this book reveals some of the patterns, relationships, and symmetries that make up the methods, marvels, and madness we call Magic Squares.

Author Biography:

Ronald Wendel graduated from college with an engineering degree. Throughout his career he has worked as an engineer and also as a software developer. Several years ago he developed a software program that could create and manipulate magic squares. This book is an accumulation of many of the methods and marvels that he found while playing with these magic squares.
