He came into our lives on a bright summer day. He didn't come by way of a hospital. And he wasn't dropped on our doorstep by a stork. No! He was flown in on a huge airplane! Since he arrived, he has touched the lives of both young and old. He is called "Sweet Little Man, Little Scamp, and the Little Rascal." But his name is CHANCE. Mila DelaRosa Mila is a nurse by profession. She was born in the Philippines, but now works and resides in Northern California. She is a published author of a book of poetry. Some of her poems were also included is two books of poetry that anthologized Aklanon poets. Writing children's books became her new passion, and with a fellow writer, published her first children's book, a precursor of "The Mis-Adventures of Chance" series.

C. J. Rains resides in a small town in Southern Arizona. She is the author of three books of poetry, but recently found joy in collaborating with a fellow writer to bring about this series of children's books, "The Mis-Adventures of Chance."
