Description

How well you really know those closest to you has now become the difference between life and death. As a zombian infection, that gradually turns ordinary people into blood-thirsty cannibals, spreads through New Orleans; for botanist, Kelly Hébert, her biologist uncle, Rob Hébert, and new friend, Kerman Alphonse, the odyssey to find safe haven and a cure begins.

Author Biography:

We have been fans of the zombie genre ever since George A. Romero unveiled "Night of the Living Dead" and have seen just about every zombie film ever made. But after years of seeing the same basic scenario play itself out over and over again, we, like many others, began to crave something a little more realistic. So we asked ourselves the same question just about every other zombie fan has asked at one time or another. If you removed the fantasy realm of Hollywood make believe and instead approached it from a real world point of view; how could something similar to a zombie apocalypse actually occur, and if so, what would really happen. Though we may have taken a few liberties here and there, this is the perspective we took in writing this book. And it is our belief that if such an event were to actually happen, it would be far more terrifying than anything Hollywood could possibly imagine. This book is the first installment in a series intended to chronicle this very plausible apocalyptic event.
