Description

A comedic play about how unjustified fears can control our daily lives. Tim is a struggling Mime, who has a fear of talking to women. Dahlia is a road kill sanitation worker, who has a fear of following her dream to be a jazz singer. Wally is a homeless Veteran, who has a fear of reconciling with his son he abandoned. Frank is Dahlia's coworker who has a secret crush on her. A love triangle blossoms as Tim decides to pursue Dahlia with Wally's help. As these characters become intertwined they are challenged to face their inner demons.

Author Biography:

S.R. Lane was born and raised in Seattle WA, USA. She earned her B.A. degree in Performing Arts at Western Washington University. She has previously written and directed four of her theatrical plays: "Oar Locks for Lunch", "Sour Orange Juice", "The Parasite" and "Assim-mutate", for theatrical stages in the greater Seattle and Bellingham area. Her first publication of "Oar Locks for Lunch" was released successfully in 2013. She has traveled around the globe and loves to capture the world's scenery in photography. She is passionate about the fine and performing arts and supporting artists in all their mediums.
