Jessica, the princess of the planet Kurr and heir to its thone, is captured by the evil flesh eating Dragos. Jack, the king of the vampires on Earth rescues her. Unbeknownst to Jessica, Jack has been guarding her for most of her life from afar as a promise to her deceased father. Over those years he grew to love and desire her. Now that he's so close to her, he struggles to subdue that love and desire, while Jessica pushes to bring it forth.

Author Biography:

Eileen Sheehan lives in her native upstate New York where she enjoys the beauty of the New York Countryside. When she is not sitting at the computer creating a new fantasy, she can be found helping her clients through her holistic business as Lena Sheehan a.k.a. Psychic Lena. She takes advantage of her experiences, wisdom and knowledge of the paranormal and often finds ways to insert them into her writings. Although she strives to create a well rounded story, she admits she's an incurable romantic. Because of this, she often ends up having a love affair with her hero vampire or werewolf. (In her mind, of course.) This romantic tendency also influences the slant her stories take. To quote Eileen, "Even though I write about vampires, werewolves and such, I'm an incurable romantic. So, don't look for an abundance of horror in my stories. Although I'll try to create a well rounded story for my readers, I'm prefer to make love, not gore." .
