In 2015, Blake Alvarado was murdered by the Alpha-and-Omegas Program, a welfare group of teenage killers formed to reduce the world's population. Kyle, their Leader, sent Blake's corpse to a fellow colleague and scientist, Raven, in order to bring him back to life. Two years after Blake's resurrection, he is forced to join the group because of his mother's suffocating debts. His journey behind his mask leads him down a road full of secrets, near death experiences, overwhelming tragedies, and many mental battles with himself and society's views.

At only 17 years old, The Puppets We Are is the first novel in The Masks Series which Noel hopes will consist of five books. He has written many plays and books before but he dropped everything on his writing to do list to finish this novel.
