Description

This book is intended as an aid to those who encounter obstructions called bumps and potholes in their life with Christ. Part One identifies seven bumps and potholes likely to be encountered. Included among them is the delusion that all things are going to work for good for believers; the misunderstanding of the Church as a place and worship as going to a place; the misuse of Christian freedom, the making of judgments, interpretation of Scripture, relationships, and forgiveness. Part Two identifies issues that can and often do develop into bumps and potholes in the path of the believer. Included among these are the baptism of Jesus and the Lord's Supper. Part Three defines worship, its purpose, and the role of the elements of worship, while the focus of Part Four is on maintaining the integrity of worship. Part Five is devoted to smoothing the Bumps and Filling the Potholes.
