Author Biography:

Andreas Gofas is completing a PhD in the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick on the ideas debate in political analysis. Colin Hay is Professor of Political Analysis and Head of the Department of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Birmingham. He is the author or editor of a number of volumes, including Re-Stating Social and Political Change (Open UO, 1996), Demystifying Globalisation (Palgrave, 1999; with D. Marsh), British Politics Today (Polity, 2002) and Political Analysis (Palgrave, 2002).
