Description

Dru Simon has been writing in one venue or another for most of her life, though she claims The Siliphore mostly wrote itself. An avid reader and collector of classic movies, Dru lives in southern California with her husband, two parrots and an umbrella cockatoo. In defiance of the powerful Council of Agma, Sennic and his companions have ridden west in search of the priest Barak. As time grows short, Sennic must learn how to wield the enormous power of the Collar of the Kings before his inescapable confrontation with the genocidal demon, Jave. But the Council of Agma is not taking Sennic's disobedience lying down. Their response is felt throughout the capital and surrounding cities, setting off a chain of events that threaten the future of the entire Kingdom. Unaware of the dangerous situation in Agasee but too aware of his own mortality, Sennic prepares for his inevitable encounter with Jave, the result of which will decide the fate of the world. The lush world of the Siliphore broadens as Sennic and his companions prepare for a confrontation they have little chance to win and the cities of the Kingdom stand on the terrifying brink of war. These events and their aftermath bring the epic of the Siliphore to a complex and surprising conclusion.

Author Biography:

A dreamer since childhood, Dru Simon was voted "Most Likely To Perform Brain Surgery On Insects"; which may explain her love of jigsaw puzzles, decorative needlework, and greatly detailed narrative. The Siliphore is her first published novel.
