A perfect manual for the beginner or the seasoned expert, The Tai Chi Handbook is a classic in its field, now revised for a new generation of readers. Herman Kauz, widely-respected teacher of Tai Chi (and a practitioner of not only Tai Chi but also Aikido, Judo, and Karate) here distils the very central theses of the Tai Chi lifestyle and practice.
Herman Kauz has spent most of his life studying various aspects of physical training, especially the martial arts of the East. He has conducted classes in Tai Chi in New York since 1968 at such centers as The Central YWCA, Brooklyn College and The New School for Social Research as well as privately in his own studio. He lives in Manhattan with his family.
