Description

Willhanna, a wise and athletic horse is counting the days until his 10th birthday. Josephine Rose, the kind Clydesdale, and his other horse friends on the farm want to find a special way to celebrate this big day. One March afternoon, the horses seek Mirabella's advice for some clever ideas, since she has known Willhanna for several years. Mirabella, the thoughtful cow suggests holding a surprise party in the old dairy barn. As the days and nights lead up to this grand event, all the animals on the farm find additional ways to make Willhanna's birthday, a memorable and magical occasion. Lastly, they learn the importance of working together as a team. This heartfelt horse tale will leave a special place in your heart. The central themes of this book cater to the importance of sharing, kindness, and thoughtfulness. Kristen's story books are inspired by her own horses. The Tale of Willhanna: A Horse's Magical Birthday is Halverson's 4th story book. Her other literary projects can be found at www.kristenhalverson.com.
