The music of Patrick Bleakley, Jonathan Crayford and Anthony Donaldson is
born out of a
midweek residency at the Wellington bar/venue called Happy over a 12 month
period.
Picking the best pieces from all the recordings resulted in the album ‘The
Truth Isn’t Always
Ornamental’. Intuition and the moment decided what music was to be played.
All three members of the group have a tremendously long history in the New
Zealand Jazz
music scene.
