Author Biography

Martin Manser was born in 1952 in Bromley, Kent. He was educated at Manchester Grammar School and Eltham College. He received a BA Honors degree in linguistics at the conclusion of his studies at the Universities of York, England and Regensburg, Germany. A developing interest in lexicography led him to take up a post as a reference-book editor. Since 1980 he has worked on over 150 reference books with a contemporary appeal. He has also compiled and edited many titles that encourage Bible reading. He also leads training courses on clear writing for, and acts as a consultant with, national and international companies and organizations.
