Description

According to Barbara Lieberman, living with a chronic illness is like living with a monster in your closet. In The Unchained Spirit, she shares her challenges and her triumphs, as she faces that monster each and every day. This book was written to help others facing similar challenges, while offering advice to those who care about someone who shares their life with illness. Ms. Lieberman offers her own story, so that others might free their own spirits to live unchained. "[Barbara] has created a step-by-step guide to what to expect when faced with a chronic illness and from many points of view. From how you are going to feel emotionally, to the physical challenges, the relational difficulties, her written words are so eloquent that you feel uplifted, encouraged and privileged to have gained such knowledge." - Susan Irby, Creator of the Bikini Chef
