Author Biography:

John Mullen is a writer, philosopher and sailor living in the fishing port of Gloucester, Massachusetts. He has authored three books of nonfiction, including the widely-read Kierkegaard's Philosophy: Self-Deception and Cowardice in the Present Age (1995). His stories and flash fiction have appeared in various literary journals, for example, "The Coprological Visions of Judy Dallas: A Retrospective" (Cynic Magazine), "Gone Dad" in Boston Literary Magazine, "Loving Marilyn Maples" in City Lines Magazine, "The War on Terror" in Diddledog: A Miscellany of Flash Fiction, "The Breast Center" in Full of Crow Magazine and "Disarticulated Parts" (in E.
