Author Biography:

Claire Dwyer works for the Avila Foundation as marketing manager as well editor and contributor on its website spiritualdirection.com. She has a degree in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville and is now a student in the Avila Institute's graduate program in Spiritual Theology. She is author of This Present Paradise: A Spiritual Journey with St. Elizabeth of the Trinity (Sophia Institute Press, 2021). She has been featured in such publications as the National Catholic Register, the Catechetical Review, and Catholic Exchange, and writes regularly on her own website EventheSparrow.com on everything from saints and scripture to the interior life. Most importantly, she has been married for 23 years and has six children, ages 22-8, all of whom keep her on her toes --and on her knees.
