However this book will be a larger format hardcover that lets the visuals lead the way with 500 new facts and 500 photos. "Ultimate Weird But True" will include new facts on every page. Some spreads will include vibrant illustrations with random pop-up facts that relate to objects in the scene. Others will include one boldly designed fact on a spread with an incredible photograph. Another spread might show an amazing shark photo, surrounded by weird-but-true facts about sharks. Divided into chapters such as, Animals Unleashed, Going to Extremes, and Really Wild Photos! a broad range of content will fit into each chapter. Examples of subject matter may include any of the following: unlikely animal friends; wacky houses and hotels; the world's most expensive ice cream sundae made of real gold; strange weather phenomena (eg. snowballs that roll themselves); weird festivals; stupid criminals; wacky art (eg. giant fried eggs on a city street); and, the list goes on. If it's almost too weird to be true, it's in there.
