Un village Français describes life through the occupation of France by Germany during World War 2. Spoken in French with English sub titles, the film is easy to follow. The quality of there acting is excellent, particularly so of the children in the film. I have watched up to season 4 so far and am having to restrict my viewing so I don't finish it too soon.
This series is extremely enthralling and addictive. Completely believable and well acted.
This is a great story about life in occupied France, with lots of great characters and a highly believable story line. Series 3 is better than two, but it won't make sense unless you've seen the earlier series; the story began in episode 1 of series 1 and has continued from there. I understand that in France it's up to series 6…
Since June 1941, and the opening of the Russian front in WW2, paranoias have increased about Communists in the village of Villeneuve. Arrests are made by mistake at the school, the mayor is having difficulties with supply, and the townspeople are cutting their own deals with the Nazis.
