Uncertainty
A sunny July 4th morning on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City. A young couple, Bobby Thompson (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and Kate Montero (Lynn Collins), crazy in love, face the biggest decision of their lives. She’s pregnant and they’re unsure what to do.
A family picnic awaits, and the couple is conflicted over whether to share their news. Bobby stops, takes out a coin, and flips it into the air. With that tossed coin, a seemingly ordinary day unfolds in two separate and unique ways as both possible choices Bobby and Kate could have made are realized; one brings to light the hopes, dreams and disappointments of parenthood, while other finds the couple running for their lives, entangled in a deadly web of money and murder.
A summer day. A single question exploding into two scenarios about infinite possibility, the consequences of choice, and the significance of pure accident.
