Description

This latest instalment in the Uncommon Compendiums series explores facts surrounding some very strange vehicles, all with Michael Hearst's signature verve and humour. Get ready to learn about 45 of the strangest, most unconventional vehicles that have ever existed – from submersibles to dirigibles, and everything in between! Whether you're a train collector, a rocket inventor, a budding space-and- aeronautics expert, or just someone who's thought, 'Why CAN'T I ride a motorised suitcase through the airport?' (spoiler alert: you can!), this is the book for you.
