Chuckie is a young 9 year old and an only child living with his parents in a small town. Today is the dreaded day Chuckie wished would never come which is going on a camping trip in the mountains with his parents and favorite uncle. He is uncertain about the trip and prefers visiting his grandparents' farm in another state because he feels the camping trip will be totally boring and certainly a waste of his one day off for fall break.
