Once upon a time, there was a girl and the girl had a shadow. The two were connected, tethered together. And the girl ate, her food was given to her warm and tasty. But when the shadow was hungry, he had to eat rabbit raw and bloody… Unsettling and bizarre. There will be moments you jump out of your skin and moments when your brain hurts trying to unravel the twists and turns. Let it take you over.
What takes place during the early stages of the movie set the pattern thruout involving the family as they gather for the holiday. No one is spared in the fast paced thriller that sets up the ‘back’ to ‘front’ climatic ending – all mirrored in an escape from reality. Watch closely, because its not what you think it is. Smart, terrifing and clever.
