Author Biography:

Karen Hosack-Janes is Associate Consultant, Creative Curriculum Development, Chris Quigley Consultants, Newcastle, UK. She is an experienced author, consultant course leader and developer for Arts and Education at the University of Oxford, and Education Adviser for the Public Catalogue Office project 'Your Paintings', launched in 2011. Karen was previously Head of Schools and Education at the National Gallery, London, UK, where she led a range of projects including the very well known nationwide 'Take One Picture' project. She was previously a teacher and Head of Art and Design in schools.
